About us

St Anne’s church is the Church of England parish church for the villages of Shevington, Standish Lower Ground and Crooke, on the outskirts of Wigan.

You are warmly invited to join us for any of our services or events. (see ‘Diary for the month’ for times and venues).

There is disabled access and a loop system for the hard of hearing.

If you or someone you care for is in need of prayer then please place their names on the prayer board on the way out of the church building or you can contact our confidential prayer group through Brenda Harrison -(01257) 400084. Prayer meeting every Wednesday 11am at Brenda's.

Home Communion

If you are unable to attend regular worship then our home communion team can provide a lovely ministry of care and fellowship within the home. Please contact one of the clergy to make arrangements.

Sparkles (Childrens group)

A Christian Toddler Group for babies and all pre-school children.
Come and join us every Tuesday during term time in the Parish Centre 9.30 – 11am.
